Ildar Iksanov

Russian photographer Ildar Iksanov is a fine art and fashion photographer based out of Moscow.

He travels widely across far regions of Russia and the East, documenting the day-to-day lives of local residents, as well as architectural studies that evoke an almost nostalgic feeling to the viewer; whether they have visited the location or not.

Shooting almost exclusively on 35mm film, Iksanov’s aesthetic is a combination of traditional street photography with the competence and creative flair of a contemporary artist.
