Pieter “Parra” Janssen b.1976, and better known as Piet Parra is a Dutch artist based in Amsterdam. He is celebrated internationally for his distinct, surreal style featuring vibrant, saturated colours—specifically reds, blues, and pinks—and hybrid, bird-like characters. His work, which spans painting, drawing, sculpture, and apparel design, often explores themes of intimacy and domesticity through a post-Pop, graphic lens. 

Originally known for his posters and flyers for music venues, he gained international recognition and has collaborated with major brands like Nike, Vans, and Converse. He also created a 60-foot mural for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
