sadly postponed…

A selection of new paintings and drawings by Constance MacQueen.

Shown alongside studies and sketches the exhibition showcases MacQueen’s work in an intimate setting, focusing on her personal experiences and daily interactions.
This latest body of work sees MacQueen move away from her explicitly female focused work, and centre her attention on personal associations and interactivity. This is demonstrated perfectly in her study of her father, Angus – a painting which developed through a study of raw beef, morphed into a bruise, before reaching its final form as a fatherly study, exploring her parental relationship in a bolder, more abstractly figurative style.

Opening on 5th March 2020, the exhibition will be open for public viewing on a by appointment basis.
