Kiki Hasegawa 長谷川 希木
Kiki Hasegawa is a Japanese contemporary artist, originally from the port town of Kanazawa. Born into a family of oil painters it was no surprise that Hasegawa’s creative skills were promoted from a young age; he joined his first art class at the age of 5. Following his studies at Tokyo’s Tama Art University Kiki Hasegawa exhibited domestically in Japan in a variety of group shows, as well as a solo exhibition at HOLSTER 2F in Tokyo, 2019. Hasegawa’s work consists predominantly of magazine style collages on commercial materials, as well as on wooden blocks. Cutting, sticking, textiles, tapes, stickers and marker pens are the go-to mediums for his works.
